Bring Google Broadband to New York City!

Hey New Yorkers -- want faster internet, corporate transparency, and lower prices? I sure do. And so, we must band together to get ourselves on Google's list for the Google Broadband trial. 

Click the link below, then click the shown "Get Involved" bar when you get to the Google site. Fill out the form and tell them why NYC should get Google Broadband. Here's what I sent:

"New York is home to some of the most brilliant web designers and bloggers (like myself -- a blogger, not brilliant) on the planet. By giving a world-power like New York access to faster speeds, it's possible that even our struggling economy could be affected positively. Yes, it might seem like a good idea to give a less privileged community this advantage, but if you give it to New York, the advantage will be exponentially increased by our ability to utilize it, and, as we pull that much further ahead of our Asian and European competitors, the rewards will belong to our whole country."

That's right. I pulled the economy card. And I meant it, too. Get involved!
